confirmation: Where your faith becomes your own

What happens in Confirmation?

  • You discover what it really means to be a son or daughter of God - and that your life has purpose.
  • You grow closer to Jesus, not just hearing about Him, but actually knowing him.
  • The Holy Spirit strengthens you with courage, wisdom, and confidence for real life.
  • You find your place in something bigger - a community that has your back.
  • You're given the strength to live your faith out loud - standing up for what matters, being real about what you believe, and not being afraid to show it.

If you would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2027, view the calendar

**Ages 18+, please visit our Becoming Catholic page which directs you on how to receive all the Sacraments of Initiation, including Confirmation.

"The rite of Confirmation recalls and renews the promises made at Baptism and invokes a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus received the outpouring of the Spirit at his baptism in order to carry out his messianic mission, the Church prays that we too may receive the gifts and fruits of the Spirit that enable us to help the Body of Christ grow in unity and missionary zeal."
